Graham, the CEO of Sacred Waters Developments, is a visionary leader with a wealth of expertise in real estate and community development. With degrees in Urban Land Economics and an MBA, Graham has spent over two decades driving economic development for the Katzie, Kwantlen, and Semiahmoo Nations. 

His work is all about creating sustainable growth and advancing reconciliation through economic empowerment. As a Board Director for the BC Non-Profit Housing Association, Graham champions sustainable housing solutions and Indigenous economic empowerment.

Christopher Johnston

Christopher is a seasoned expert in construction management and business development, with over two decades of experience. As the Vice President of Business Development & Partnerships at Sacred Waters Developments, Christopher’s strategic vision and team-building prowess shine. 

He founded RISE Construction Network, a consulting firm that has made waves in the construction sector. Recognized as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” in Business and Growth, Christopher is a leader who knows how to spot opportunities and nurture high-performing teams.

Julian Ward

Julian is a development expert with nearly three decades of experience in residential projects. Specializing in both market and non-market housing, Julian has led high-density towers and mixed-use developments through roles with Community Land Trust, BC Housing, and private developers. 

His ability to navigate stakeholder relationships, public-private partnerships, and municipal processes ensures innovative housing solutions across communities.

Leanna Grimes

Leanna is a registered professional planner (RPP, MCIP) who believes in intentional growth driven by community values and priorities. Leanna is passionate about holistic sustainable development; she has led environmental, governance and social impact initiatives for Indigenous Nations and public and private sector entities across a variety of industries.

Katica Nikic

With over 15 years of experience, Katica is an expert in streamlining workflows, implementing policies, and building strong operational foundations. As the Business Operations Manager at Sacred Waters Developments, she optimizes internal structures for efficiency and long-term success. Katica’s ability to create structure and foster collaboration is key to Sacred Waters’ smooth daily operations. 

Previously an amateur rowing champion and instructor, Katica applies the discipline, teamwork, and leadership from her athletic background to drive operational excellence.

Ada Huang

Ada is a passionate Project Management Professional (PMP) who thrives in the world of residential rental and commercial real estate development. As the Junior Development Manager at Sacred Waters Developments, Ada brings her financial savvy, regulatory know-how, and commitment to sustainability to every project she leads.

Her technical skills in industry-standard software and her knack for managing project lifecycles ensure that each endeavor is a success. Ada’s community-first approach means she always keeps the people at the heart of her work.

Chris Huxtable

Chris is an architect and development professional with a rich tapestry of experience spanning over 15 years. As a registered Architect with the AIBC, Chris has guided architectural teams through residential, commercial, and retail projects. His journey from schematic design to construction administration showcases his versatility. 

Known for his strong client relationships, Chris excels at transforming initial concepts into tangible structures. As the Development Manager at Sacred Waters Developments, he brings his expertise in functional design, team leadership, and project management to the forefront.

Davíd Aguilar

David is the heart and soul of communications at Sacred Waters Developments. With a decade of experience in photography, videography, digital marketing, and internal communications, David is a master at creating connections through storytelling. 

His role as a Communications and Engagement Specialist is all about keeping everyone informed and engaged, both inside and outside the organization. Known for his quick wit and ability to bring a smile to people’s faces, David believes that great communication goes beyond words, it’s about building genuine relationships (and maybe throwing in a pun or two).

Marie Storkova

Marie is an experienced administrative professional with a rich background in public administration, economic development, and logistics. As the Operations & Administrative Coordinator at Sacred Waters Developments, Marie plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to the team, enhancing office efficiency, and ensuring smooth daily operations. 

Fun fact: Marie used to be a paramedic, which means she’s always ready to handle any emergency with calm and precision, making her perfect for keeping our office running smoothly!

Nakia Randle

Nakia is a sustainability professional with a legal background and a deep commitment to Indigenous-led environmental initiatives. Her work in the energy sector focuses on sustainability strategy, climate change resilience, and project design for Indigenous self-determination.

As an Environmental Consultant and international climate advocate, Nakia brings a unique blend of legal knowledge, sustainability expertise, and cultural understanding to Sacred Waters Developments.
