Graham Wood, MBA, is the CEO of Sacred Waters Developments, leading with vision, integrity, and a deep commitment to sustainable, community-led growth. With over two decades of experience across real estate and development, he has worked alongside Indigenous Nations and partners to create projects that foster economic opportunity, environmental stewardship, and cultural respect. Guided by collaboration and shared purpose, Graham champions innovative approaches that build capacity, strengthen relationships, and create lasting, meaningful change rooted in the values of reconciliation and community wellbeing.

Katica Nikic

Katica Nikic is the Director of Operations & Administration at Sacred Waters Developments. With over 15 years of experience across industries including travel, technology, finance, and non-profit, she brings a proven ability to build strong systems and cohesive teams. Since joining Sacred Waters, Katica has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s operational foundation, fostering efficiency, collaboration, and sustainable growth. A former rowing instructor and champion, she leads with focus and resilience, guiding teams with the same dedication she brings to every endeavour.

Leanna Grimes

Leanna Grimes, RPP/MCIP, PMP, ENV SP, is the Director of Planning & Sustainability at Sacred Waters Developments. With over a decade of experience leading major projects across Canada, Leanna combines strategic planning expertise with a deep commitment to environmental stewardship and community collaboration. She champions sustainable, inclusive development that reflects the values and priorities of the Nations and local partners. Known for her thoughtful leadership and facilitation skills, Leanna fosters meaningful dialogue and strong governance to guide projects from vision to lasting impact.

Julian Ward

Julian Ward, MRICS, is the Director of Real Estate at Sacred Waters Developments. With nearly three decades of experience in housing and community development, Julian leads projects from vision to completion with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and impact. His work spans both market and non-market sectors, including partnerships with public agencies and non-profits to deliver housing that strengthens communities. Known for his problem-solving and inclusive approach, Julian is dedicated to creating enduring places that reflect local needs and shared values.

Jason Hingley

Jason Hingley, BFP, ACA, PMP, is the Director of Finance at Sacred Waters Developments. With over 15 years of experience across finance, housing, and development in Canada and the UK, Jason leads with a focus on sustainable growth and community value. He oversees strategic financial planning, investment management, and project financing to ensure long-term success. Guided by transparency and collaboration, Jason supports partnerships that balance sound financial performance with meaningful, lasting outcomes for the communities they serve.

Sina Abad

Sina Abad, PhD, is the Strategic Initiatives Manager and Acting Director of Planning & Sustainability at Sacred Waters Developments. A skilled leader in economic and community development, Sina brings a decade of experience advancing sustainable growth through strategic planning, innovation, and partnership. He has worked extensively with First Nations, government, and industry to strengthen land governance, climate resilience, and local capacity. Guided by collaboration and cultural respect, Sina champions initiatives that foster self-determination, environmental stewardship, and lasting community wellbeing.

Christopher Johnston

Christopher Johnston is the Advisor for Business Development & Partnerships at Sacred Waters Developments. With over 20 years of experience in construction and strategic growth, Chris is passionate about building strong teams and impactful projects that drive economic and social prosperity. As the founder of RISE Construction Network, he brings deep expertise in industry collaboration, marketing, and operations. Guided by a commitment to responsible development, he continues to champion innovation, partnership, and lasting community benefit.

Chloë Derksen

Chloë Derksen is a Proposal Specialist at Sacred Waters Developments, where she leads and supports proposals and funding applications alongside the team. With over 17 years of experience in proposals, marketing, communications, and graphic design, she brings a blend of strategic writing and visual storytelling to her work. Chloë also supports communications, marketing, and design needs across the organization, helping colleagues present their work clearly, creatively, and on-brand, while centring collaboration, inclusivity, and attention to detail.

Davíd Aguilar

David Aguilar is the Communications & Engagement Specialist at Sacred Waters Developments. A storyteller at heart, David uses creativity and compassion to build meaningful connections through his work. With over a decade of experience in digital media and community engagement, he blends strategy and artistry to craft content that inspires dialogue and belonging. Marie Storkova is the Operations & Administrative Specialist at Sacred Waters Developments. With more than nine years of experience in administration and logistics, and a background as a critical care paramedic, Marie thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. She brings sharp organizational insight and a steady, solutions-focused mindset to every task. Dedicated to fostering efficiency and collaboration, Marie ensures smooth daily operations and supports the team’s broader goals with care and precision, helping create the structure that allows projects and people to thrive.

Brett Sagert

Brett Sagert, LEED AP, WELL AP, CPHC, CSR-P, is the Sustainability Lead at Sacred Waters Developments. Guided by a deep commitment to sustainable design and community wellbeing, Brett helps shape projects that reduce environmental impact while supporting cultural and ecological resilience. With extensive experience in ESG strategy, green building certification, and energy performance, he empowers teams to design high-efficiency spaces that reflect shared values of stewardship, innovation, and long-term sustainability.

Mel Ho

Mel Ho is the Senior Accountant at Sacred Waters Developments. A CPA with over nine years of experience in public practice and real estate accounting, Mel specializes in clear, accurate financial reporting and analysis. She has led assurance engagements, supported clients across multiple sectors, and improved workflows to make financial information more transparent and timely. Detail-oriented and dependable, Mel helps build strong financial systems that support informed decisions and steady organizational growth.
